He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Rose (Crandall) and Louis Schaefer; and his brother David Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Schaefer; his children, Wesley Schaefer, Jr., Jason (Sherry) and Jennifer Jenkins; and his brothers, Joe (Cindy) and Frank Schaefer (Arizona). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
