He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Mumford and Ruby Mumford (Nelson); and his sister Connie Long. He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Mikel (Spencer) of Mentone; his grandchildren, Alona Cavander (Geoffrey) of Winona Lake, Jonah Mikel (Mackenzie) of Elkhart and Jared Mikel (Taylor Thomas) of Iowa; his great grandchildren, Noah and Hattie; his brother Edward Mumford (Shirley) of Claypool; his aunt Ann Sweet of Warsaw; his close friends, Orville Haney and Patricia Irelan; and his pet Izzy.
