With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Russell of Silver Lake, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Miller and Hopper; her former husband John Robert Russell; her sister Rita Adams; her grandson Bradey Prater; and her niece Ashley Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Hill of Silver Lake; her daughters, Susan Schoettmer (Terry) of Claypool and Tina M. Prater; her grandchildren, Wendy Shepherd of Culver, Levi Schoettmer, Brandin Prater, Ariel Cunningham (Derrick), Brooklyn Jackson, Ryan Rachel, Julie Shaffer and Jordan Shepherd; and her siblings, Daryl Miller (Connie), Richard "Buzz" Miller (Pam), David Miller, Judy Lee (Chuck) of Madison, Lois Miller of Madison and Janet "Fizz" Splain (Bill) of Madison. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
