She was predeceased by: her parents, Dezzie Ezell Whitley (Howard) and Allen Whitley; her husband Larry Mills; and her siblings, J. D., Clark, Joe Whitley, Gary Ray Gardenhire, Clara Parson and Hazel Gardenhire.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lynn Simmons (Charlotte Ann) and Judy E. Morris. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friends.
