It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Oaks (Silver Lake, Indiana), born in Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 66, on May 10, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Oaks (Smith) and Elmer Oaks; his wife Charlotte L. Oaks (Wadkins); and his siblings, Sharon Oaks, Brenda Campbell and Billy Oaks.
He is survived by: his children, David R. Oaks, Joyce R. Prater and Cristy L. Haselby (Chad); and his siblings, James Oaks (Tennessee), Larry Oaks (Indiana), Elmer Oaks (Indiana), John Oaks (Indiana), Mark Oaks (Tennessee), Wilma Rock (Dale), Lorene Hettler (Jim) and Pearl Oaks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus and safety concerns the visitation is limited to 25 people at a time.
