He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Whitmill and Myrna Whitmill; his daughter Tomica Robertson; and his siblings, Melody and Jason.

He is survived by: his siblings, Dean (Suzann Bassel) and Donna Barron (Lewis); his grandchildren, Stormie Mayo (Chris) and Harley Robertson; and his great grandchildren, Jayden River and Micela.
