He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mullis and Cecelia Mullis (Jacob); his siblings, Sylvester (Betty), Joe (Mary Alice), Leo (Rosie), Othmar, Edgar, John Mulis (Ruth) and Esther Klee (Robert); and his brother-in-law Clarence Troesch.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kerstiens; his children, Jerry Mullis (Lisa) of Birdseye, Tim Mullis (Lisa) of Adyeville, Darrell Mullis (Marlene) of Santa Claus, Scott Mullis (Ginger) of Siberia, Kurt Mullis (Nicole) of Bretzvile and Linda Bueltel (Wayne) of Ferdinand; his siblings, Leroy Mullis (Elaine) of Iowa and Mary Ann Troesch of St. Meinrad; and his sister-in-law Rose Mullis of Fulda. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
