It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Fritz of Siberia, Indiana, born in Ferdinand, Indiana, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Simon Petry and Elenora Petry (Tempel); her husband Joseph Fritz; her children, Rose Beck (Dan) of Jasper, Barbara Welp (Gene) of Ferdinand, JoAnn Greenwell (Keith) of Loogootee, David Fritz (Sandy) of Gentryville and Bob Fritz (Connie) of Siberia; and her brothers, Earl and Urban Petry. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
