He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Jack" and Anna Harder (Mann); his daughter Cheryl Lynn Stiles; and his siblings, Howard, Karl, Edgar Harder, Lillian Wininger and Christian Harder.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Ann; his children, Doug Harder of Shoals, Clara Lee Harder of Indianapolis, Cathy Harder of Michiana Shores and Kimberly Harder of Shoals; his grandchildren, Eric, Chad Shaw, D. J. Harder and Waylon Thomas Harder; his great grandchildren, Maggie, Gracie, Carson, Kenley and Kyra Ann Shaw; and his brother Bill Harder of Tennessee.
