He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jr. Collins and Patricia Collins (Wilson); his grandson Briar Gene King; and his sisters, Beverly Collins and Freda Bell.
He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Porter; his children, Tara Dewitt (Trenton) of Missouri, Michelle King (Lance) of Springville and Ronald Collins Jr Navarre Beach (Candace Starret); and his siblings, David Collins (Ann) of Eaton, Danny Collins (Lynn) of Shoals, Frank Collins of Hartford City, Judy Martin of Shoals and Carol Humbert of Jasper. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
