He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Tharp. He is survived by: his children, Julie L. Tharp of Shoals, Tammy Goldsberry (Robert) of Shoals and Charles "Tony" Tharp (Mary) of Loogootee; his grandchildren, Andy Tharp (Melissa), Amber Kirkendall (Brandon), Ashten Carnegie, Bud Goldsberry, Candi Stone, Nisha Carrico, Tasha Crowder (Ron) and Autumn Allbright; and his sisters, Lois Faurtardo of Loogootee and Beverly Gee of Shoals.
