She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar O. Abel and Edith Tippett Abel; her husband Walter Leland Butler; her siblings-in-law, Bernice Jones (Zan), Mable Butler and Lloyd Butler (Irene); her aunt Myrtle Hedge; her cousins, Ronald Macy and Juanita Macy; and her pet Susie.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, David Butler (Dianne), Alan Butler (Kathy), John Butler, Carolyn Colbert (Bruce) and Mary Doane (Bob); her cousins, Terry Carter (Yvonne), Donald W. Hedge, Nikki Hedge, Tom Abel, Tim Abel, Rick Hedge (Barbara) and Jill Bowles (Steve); her caregiver Diane Lengacher; and her close friends, Marianne, Don Burgan, Jeaniene, Harold Eichmiller and Loretta Turpin.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Waggoner's Chapel Cemetery Fund, The Martin County Humane Society, or The Martin County Historical Society.
