He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Downey Jr. and Jo Collett (Taber); his stepmother Lois Downey (Lannan); and his grandparents, William Paul, Ethel Downey (Franklin), Roscoe and Evelyn Taber (Cox).
He is survived by: his children, Tabatha Duran (Abraham) of French Lick, Tyberius, Alexander and Colton Downey of Loogootee; his grandson Diego Duran; and his siblings, Melanie Downey of Jasper, Stacey Hornaday of Mobile, Alabama, Roger Downey (Carolyn) of Loogootee, Randy Bateman (Donna) of Loogootee and Randy Archer (Tracy) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
