It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula L. Garcia of Shirley, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ellison and Beverly Luellen (Hammond); and her brother Jeff Ellison. She is survived by: her husband Julio Garcia; her children, Angela Hedrick (John) of Shirley, Justin Luellen (Cassie) of Pendleton and Shayla Luellen of Shirley; her grandchildren, Haley and Gracin Hedrick; her brother Brian Ellison (Alison) of Wilkinson; her sister-in-law Kim Ellison of Shirley; her sister Renee Ellison of Knightstown; her aunts, Evelyn Luellen of Wilkinson and Kathy Tallent (Tim) of Knightstown; her parents-in-law, Juan and Maria Rodriguez; and her siblings-in-law, Juan, Ramon, Carlos, Martin, Alfonzo and Andrea. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to Covid-19 and the governor's mandate, face covering will be required.

“In loving memory of Paula, my niece. I remember the day she came home from the hospital. Mom and Dad were so proud as were Bev and Paul. My first impression was how perfectly beautiful she was; perfect in every way. It was the first time I saw my Dad act so silly just to make her smile (although I suspect it was gas LOL). She reached out to Marj when she learned of her illness even though she struggled with own. Paula was a caring and loving soul who will be missed by all privileged to know her.”
