He was predeceased by: his parents, Knofel Totten and Kathryn Totten; and his sister Esther Beyerly. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his sisters, Edith Richards (Brooks), Ann Helfrich (Ray) and Linda Schotter (Leo).

Donations in Hugh's memory may be forwarded to Main Street United Methodist Church.
