She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Topper and Alice Charley (Johnston); and her siblings, Alice Louise Parks, Wayne, Ronald and Dale Topper.
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her children, Vicki Wright of Knightstown, Belinda Kissick (Duane) of Knightstown, Rebecca Wright of Greenfield, John Wright (Cheryl) of Shirley, Christine Sandoval (Omar) of Lubbock and Jeanna Phipps (Shane) of Indianapolis; and her sister Rebecca Hammer of Shirley. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Carol volunteered her time at the New Castle library, various community fundraisers, and was an active member of the Jane Ross Reeves Octagon House Foundation.
