It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Steider of Shipshewana, Indiana, born in Shickley, Nebraska, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Steider and Helen Steider; his son Keith Steider; and his brothers, Paul, Bob and Dave Steider.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta J. Troyer; his sons, Doug Steider (Cindy) of LaGrange and Ron Steider of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Lee Steider (Melanie), Joseph Steider (Linda), Kristin Stieg (Evan) and Megan Miller (Kevin); his sisters, Mary Fast (George) of Ontario, Joan Wenger, Margaret Steider, Dorothy Dunmire and Barbara Claude; and his sisters-in-law, Royann Steider of LaGrange, Nellie Steider and Linda Steider. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Rainbow Years Learning Ministry.
