It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Marie Diener of Shipshewana, Indiana, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Miller and Katie Miller (Slabaugh); her husband Jacob E. Diener; her children, LaMar, Lyle Diener and Kathryn Diener; and her siblings, Fannie Irene Schwartz, Pollyanna Miller and Ray Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Bontrager (John) of Shipshewana, Wanda Lambright (Gary) of LaGrange and Kevin Diener (Norine) of Shipshewana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
