He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raber and Anna Raber (Yoder); and his siblings, Ida Miller, Edna Frey, Sue Troyer and Levi Raber.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Louise Miller; his children, Deanna Yoder (Matthew) of Nappanee, Delores Schlabach (Christie) of Shipshewana and Ervin "Dean" Raber (Sara) of Middlebury; his grandchildren, Katrina Borkholder (Luke), Deborah Miller (James), Meredith Schmucker (Caleb), Karissa Schlabach (Kevin Hochstetler), Kristen Schlabach (Marcus Yoder), Ethan Yoder, Travis Yoder, Benjamin Raber, Erika Yoder, Sofia Raber, Megan Yoder, Maggie Raber and Evie Raber; his great grandchild Eliza Miller; his brother Monroe Raber (Naomi) of Topeka; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Miller of Shipshewana, Melvin Frey (Alice) of Topeka and Betty Raber of Topeka.
