Shaffer Sr. of Shipshewana, Indiana, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma "Jean" Corpe (Freeze) and Robert "Bob" L. Corpe; and his granddaughter Leya. He is survived by: his wife Karen Somers; his children, Rachel Shaffer (Aaron) of Elkhart, Donnie Jr. Shaffer (Jessica) of Edwardsburg, MI, James Sopher (Nicole) of Griffith, Christopher Roberts (Vanessa) of Goshen and Katie Mast of Granger; his grandchildren, Ellie, David, Aden, Alex, Donnie III, Olivia, Xavier, Toya, Greyson, Reece and Hudson; and his sisters, Sherry, Lori, Christy and Amanda.
