It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amos E. Lehman of Shipshewana, Indiana, born in Lagrange, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli S. Lehman and Sarah A. Lehman (Herschberger); his son LaVern Lehman; his granddaughter Elaine Kay Yoder; his siblings, Levi, Harvey Lehman, Anna Borkholder and Dena Miller; and his brother-in-law Ervin Whetstone.
He is survived by: his former wife Susie S. Farmwald; his wife Wilma R. Hershberger; his children, Anna Mae Frye (Nelson) of Shipshewana, Elsie Miller (Floyd) of Middlebury, Alta Yoder (Marlin) of Shipshewana and Glen Lehman (Dorinda) of Alachua, FL; his sisters, Edna Whetstone of Topeka and Clara Bontrager (Ammon) of LaGrange; and his sister-in-law Ann Lehman of LaGrange. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandson.
