William Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Smith of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Greentown, Indiana, who passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver and Fern Leota Smith (Garrett); and his wife Norma Lee Smith (Owens). He is survived by: his children, Leslie J. Smith of Sheridan, Craig G. Smith of Sheridan, Melody L. Smith of Sheridan, Brenda L. Smith of Carmel, Cindy Gay Binder (Greg) of Carmel and Valerie D. Kyle (Jim) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Kyle Binder, Brittany Binder, Ashley Binder, Stacy Binder, Kandise Kyle-Ross (Jacob), Austin Kyle (Maddie), Brett Kyle, Connor Kyle (Brittney), Chris Mourey and Holden Henderson; and his great grandchildren, Eli Ross, Kennedy Ross, Maverie Mason Kyle and Lucas Mani.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be presented to the Challengers Class to be used for missions.
