He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank William and Gladys Elizabeth Oberthur (Rhodes); his brother Charles Oberthur; and his wife Mary Elizabeth Oberthur. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Ellen Caldwell (William) of Cedar Rapids and Laura Elaine Oberthur-Johnson (Michael) of Terhune; his grandson Christopher William Caldwell; his nephew Mike Oberthur of Indianapolis; and his sister-in-law Barbara Oberthur of Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Spring Valley Cemetery.
