With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Dale Godby of Sheridan, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Godby and Ruth Godby (Cobb); his wife Marilyn Godby (Parks); his close friend Jean Jones; his sons, Brian Godby (Carol Anne) of Merritt Island and Michael Godby of Camby, Indiana; his grandchildren, Seth Godby (Nicole), Erin Russell (Dustin), Cara Jean Miller (Ryan) and Luciann Godby; his great grandchildren, Zane Godby, Brett Godby, Justice Godby, Hendrix Godby, Alaina Miller and Amelia Miller; his brother Ron Godby (Mary) of Kendallville, Indiana; his sister-in-law Marilyn Godby of Papillion; his brother John Godby; and also, Susie Browning of Sheridan and Debbie Peterson of Peru. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to either the American Heart Association, or to the Sheridan Rotary Club.
