He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farney and Sharon Farney (Sechrest); and his in-laws, James and Grace Fulton. He is survived by: his wife Carol Farney; his daughter Amanda Gross (Noah White); and his siblings-in-law, Eunice McBryant (James), Steve Fulton (Kim) and David Fulton (Leah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
