We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2023, at the age of 87, Philip Barkley of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore M. Barkley and Elizabeth F. Barkley (Skelton); his son Paul Gilbert Barkley; his siblings, Timothy Barkley and Janice Goodrich; his son-in-law Jim Emry; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Linger and James Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel J. Barkley (Debbie) of Santiago, Chile, David L. Barkley (Tina) of Danville, Mark A. Barkley of Sheridan, Andrew A. Barkley (Donna) of Delphi and Rebekah J. Barkley-Emry of Grand Blanc; his siblings, Arthur Barkley of Peru, Indiana and Pauline Linger of Akron, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Herbert Goodrich of Monterey, Tennessee, Janet Irene Martin of Kokomo and Lori Barkley of Fishers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Sheridan Bible Church.
