Norman Ralph Strawn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Ralph Strawn of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Hamilton, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Virgil and Joyce Lucille Strawn (Biddle). He is survived by: his granddaughter Daisy; his children, Richard Norman Strawn (Wendy) of Logansport, Leon Dean Strawn (Brenda) of Sheridan and Anita Marie Brillinger (Daniel) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Strawn of Westfield, Carolyn Sandahl of Westfield, Jacob Wade Strawn of Sheridan, Justin Dean Strawn of Fort Hood, Cecilia Brillinger of Texas, Clarissa Brillinger of Noblesville and Serena Brillinger of Noblesville; his great grandchild Lilly Strawn; his siblings, Ernie D. Strawn of California and Gloria Young of Angola; his former wife Carol Ann Strawn of Noblesville; and his brother-in-law Olin Young.
During the last few years, he couldn't attend as frequently, mostly due to health concerns. (Though it could be, in some small part, that his favorite spot, in his favorite pew, where he has sat every week since he was a child, fell victim to the dreaded "Do Not Sit Here" sticker of social distancing protocol.).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Sheridan First United Methodist Church.
