We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary Elizabeth Rector of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Pickard and Grace Pickard (King); her husband Donald Rector; her brother Floyd V.; her sister-in-law Helen Pickard; her sister Geraldine; her brother-in-law Loren Gunkel; her sister Cleo; and her brothers-in-law, Hugh Hatton and Mick Adair.

She is survived by: her daughters, Terry McVey (Dennis) of Noblesville, Kathy Havens (Dave) of Noblesville and Linda Stephenson (Ralph) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Valerie Roberts (Todd) of Sheridan, Amy Soldevilla (Lem) of Carmel, Brooke Browning (Dayn) of McCordsville, Kyle McVey and Ben McVey (Noblesville); her great grandchildren, Christopher, Nick Roberts, Mackenzie, Drew Browning and Camryn Soldevilla; and her sister Wilma Adair of Camby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary's name to Sheridan Youth Assistance.
