She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer T. Whaley and Virginia Whaley (Holland); her former husband Bill B. Birden; and her siblings, Peggy McDole, Sharon Anderson and John Henry Whaley.
She is survived by: her spouse Billie Brooks Birden; her children, Randy Birden of Lebanon, Rick Birden (Cathy) of Sheridan, Cathy Weidman (Gregg) of Carmel, Julie Meisler (Sam) of Knoxville and Kristi Leonard (David) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Rick Birden (Stacy), Miles, Tripp Birden, Brent Weidman, Brooks Weidman (Melanie), Brianna Weidman Hunsinger (Ethan), Hunter Little, Sarah Meisler and Lane Leonard; her great grandchildren, Mason, Autumn, Silas, Stella, Laila and Rowan Birden; and her siblings, Donald Whaley, Gladys Birden, Hugh Whaley (Nancy) and Charlie Whaley.
Due to pandemic restrictions limiting public gathering, a private family service and burial will be held at this time.
