With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Carr of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Higginson, Arkansas, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Windom and Etta Mae "Jimmie" Carr (Smith); his son James Matthew Carr; and his brother Frank Carr. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carr (Moore) of Sheridan; his children, Timothy Joe Carr (Sonya) of Sheridan, Thomas Rand Carr (Mary) of Sheridan and Melissa Ann Schrock (Brad) of Carmel; his grandchildren, Katie Carr, Sarah Wilt (Brandon), Ben Carr (Mandi), Timothy Joe Carr, Jr. (Sarah), Joey Carr (Kylie), Levi Schrock (Bethany), Julie Carr, Sally Schrock, Anna Gibson (Sam), Abbie De Ford (Manny), Thomas Schrock (Christine) and Rebekah Ohman (Drew); his great grandchildren, Brittain Wilt, Brooklyn Wilt, Caiden Carr, Dax Carr, Ryleigh Jewell, Audrianna Schrock, Amelia Gibson, Evie Schrock, Oliver Carr, Harvey Carr, Bradley Schrock, Miles Schrock and Alaina Gibson; and his sisters, Wanda Brogan of Arkansas, Marquita Moore (Jerry) of Arkansas, Carol Tuminello of Arkansas and Margaret Ray (Sandy) of Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
