She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Eugene "Dewey" and Julia Evelyn Leonard (Foster); her brother Gene Leonard (Marilyn) of Sheridan; her granddaughter Jennifer Downs; and her former husband Reese L. Stapleton.
She is survived by: her spouse Reese Stapleton; her children, Craig Stapleton (Debbie) of Kokomo, Suzy Preston (Jerry) of Westfield and Shareese Scott of Bowling Green, KY; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lewis (Jim) of Westfield, Rachel Hubbard (Greg) of Brighton, Joshua Scott of Bowling Green, KY, Timothy Scott of Forestville, CA, Rebekah Scott of Bowling Green, KY, Shawn Stapleton of Kokomo and Brian Stapleton of Pensacola; and her stepgrandchildren, Eric Preston (Gina) of Kokomo, Anthony Preston of Indianapolis and Aaron Gilsinger of Kokomo.
