He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver G. Lewis and Iona F. Lewis; his wife Virginia Alice (Alexander); his daughters, Pamela Anderson (Wendy Sloman), Julie Ann Kennedy (Samuel) and Sheila Uhler (Douglas); his grandchildren, Eric Anderson (Jennifer Bozek), Megan Zimmermann (Brandon Cox), Kollin Sotolongo (Michael), Evan Uhler (Christina), Blake Uhler (Jacqui), Kourtney Beumel and Hannah Uhler; his stepgrandchildren, Wesley (Melissa), Thea, Cole and Tomas Kennedy; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Anderson Zimmermann, Michael, Gabriel, Kora Sotolongo, Mason, Charlotte Uhler, AnnMarie, Aiden, Benson, Cohen Uhler and Baylee Beumel; his stepgreat-grandson Charlie Kennedy; and his sister Alta Lewis Coplen. He was also cherished by sibling, along with multiple nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Sheridan Historical Society or the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tippecanoe County.
