He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Melvin "Bud" Ridge and Roseanna Deforge (Perron); his son-in-law John Perry Pickett; and his siblings, Vernon "Brub" Ridge of Sheridan, Phillip Ridge of Sheridan, Jeanne Smith of Sheridan, Elizabeth "Betty" Marlow of Sheridan and Barbara Holliday of Sheridan.
He is survived by: his wife Renate Ridge (Weisschnur); his daughter Yvonne Pickett (Ridge) of Sheridan; his grandson Steven M. Pickett of Noblesville; and his brothers, Larry Ridge (Sharon) of Massachusetts, Rex Ridge (Janice) of Florida and John Ridge (Dianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
