With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Hillock of Sheridan, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doreen Hillock to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles "Bill" and Mariam Jane "Mick" Hillock (Haughey); her brothers, William Dean Hillock and Dale Hillock; and her brother-in-law Leroy Clark McKinley.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew David Barrick (Molly) of Sheridan and Kelly Jane Barrick (John Steiner) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Shelby Merriman-Hicks (Christian), Lexey Merriman (David King), Dezare Hubner, Orion Steiner (Haley), Lars Steiner, Clark Barrick, Emmett Barrick and Rosalyn Barrick; her great grandchildren, Daymien, Hinder, Devlin, Temperance, Kimberlynn, Archer and Zander; her sister Sarah Dian McKinley of Sheridan; and her sister-in-law Vickey Hillock (David Curtis Barrick) of Sheridan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sheridan First United Methodist Church (207 E 2nd St, Sheridan, IN 46069). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be presented to Roxie's Pet Food Pantry, 602 Bow Street, Sheridan, Indiana 46069.
