She is survived by: her father Donald Covington; her husband James Abney; her daughters, LaShawna Fields, Daschell Hooten, Shanea Ealy and Eleea Hooten; and her siblings, Dajuan Hooten, Shonte Hooten and Jocelyn Kennedy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
