He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl Eugene and Olive Lorene Parks (Lane); his son David Wayne Parks; and his brother-in-law Lee Rider. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Parks (Rose) of Sheridan; his children, Karen S. Freeman (Rex) of Sheridan, Kevin L. Parks (Julie) of Zionsville and Daniel A. Parks of Frankton; his grandchildren, Michonne Stepp (Tim), Jon Garrison–Malone (Hunter), Kristen Parks and Caitlin Parks; and his siblings, Dennis L. Parks (Rita) of Naples, Florida and Janis K. Moore of Lebanon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
