Betty Ann Vawter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Vawter (Sheridan, Indiana), who passed away on October 29, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover "Pat" Merrill and Effie Merrill; her husband Samuel M. Vawter; her sons, Keith Vawter and Rick Vawter; and her siblings, Thomas Merrill, Lloyd Merrill, Mildred VanMeter, Ruth Wallace, Helen Merrill and Glen Merrill.
She is survived by: her sister Norma Hall (Donald) of Carmel; her children, Pam Hintalla (Bill) of Michigan and Phil Vawter (Tina) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Margie Hintalla, Kari Hunter (Jack), Christina Vawter, Megan Ward (John), Daniel Vawter (Vinny), Marsha McMillen (Mike), Ryan Vawter (Diana) and Marissa Lee (Lynn); and her daughters-in-law, Janet Vawter and Wanda Vawter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sheridan Public Library, Sheridan First United Methodist Church, or Six Points Church in Sheridan.
