She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Allen Smith and Virginia Rose Smith (Brewer); her husband Mark Penrod; her daughter Dana Penrod; and her sister DalAnn Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jess Penrod of Akron, OH, Ira Penrod of Akron, OH and Brandi Penrod of Akron, OH; her siblings, Bryan Smith of Joltin, TN, Mark Smith (Lori) of Shelbyville, Eddie (Mary), Bobby Phillips, Tonya Smith of Huntington, IN, Brandy Phillips of Fort Wayne and Rosie Fleming of Bristol, TN.; and her grandchildren, Davyon, Chase, Brayden, Aurora, Derick, Cole, Sadie, Ellie, Lanie and Brodie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
