He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey E. Dora and Hazel D. Dora (Smith); his wife Ruth Dora (McDaniel); his children, Pennie Sue Dora, Mark Dora and Michael Dora; his granddaughter Mia Dora; and his siblings, Jimmy, Dewey, Phillip Dora, Loretta Spencer and Lucille Cropper.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Dora (Suzanne) of Hope and Kala Paxton of Shelbyville; his adoptive daughter Carol Taylor of Waldron; his sister Bonnie Capshaw (Randy) of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Brittany Thomas, Teah Jacobs, Noah Britt, Bailey Britt, Bobbie Hughett, Tina Gray, Charlie Petro, Nathan Slack and Tawnee Mellentine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
