He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebert Wayne and Dona Jean Smith (Plummer); and his son Bryan Matthew Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Jenness Bush; his daughter Shelly Retter (John); his grandchildren, Sarah Cross (Damon), Avery Walker (Amber) and Grace Bailey (Jarrett); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Lila, Rosaleigh, Bennett, Eli, Ramsey and Eloise; and his brothers, Mike Smith, Greg Smith (Millie) and Jeff Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
