He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Chaney and Flora Comstock (Gibson); his spouse Stacy Chaney (Tucker); and his grandson Pierce Chaney. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Chaney of Pendleton, Jeremy Chaney of Shelbyville and Jennifer Chaney of Shelbyville; his close friend Lisa Johnson of Shelbyville; his friend Kevin Fritz of Shelbyville; his siblings, Travis Smothers of Shelbyville, Chasity Smothers of Shelbyville and Shawn Comstock of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Jeremy A. M. Chaney and Jakota Chaney.
