It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra M. (Smith) Redd of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis G. Smith and Letitia Smith; and her siblings, Bud Smith, Lorraine Smith, Karen Smith and Barbara Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Roan (Russell) of Shelbyville, Ruth Phillips (David) of Rushville and Mary Scroggham of Morristown; her sister Freida Smith; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Kaymie, Patrick, Ashley, Felicia, Lane, Wyatt, Rusty, Dawn and Susan. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
