It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland P. Comstock of Shelbyville, Indiana, born in Arcadia, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Comstock and Ada E. Comstock (Sasher); his brothers, Tom Rowe and Jerry Merrill; his daughter Kelly of Washington; and his grandson Gene Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Comstock (Emerick); his children, Billy Comstock (Barbra) of Boca Raton, Beth Spurlin (Laurie) of Taylorsville, KY, Timmy Comstock of Marion and Tora "TJ" Pile (Ben) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Barb Smith of Connersville and Billy Joe Comstock (Mae) of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Makayla, David, Levi, Christopher, Elijah, Aiden, Gianna, Asher and Kennedy. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to Main Street Hospice or Benesse Cancer Center, in care of the funeral home.
