It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Sloan of Shelbyville, Indiana, born in Linden, Iowa, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sloan and Ina Harsh (Rote); his stepfather Wilbert Harsh; and his siblings, Darlene Timmons, Norma Larson and Galen Sloan.
He is survived by: his spouse Janeth Rae Sloan (Krouse); his children, Robert Devoy Sloan (Jennifer) and Kathie Mullins; his granddaughter Heather Cook (Rob); his great grandchild Alexander Owens; and his sister-in-law Carol Sloan.
