He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Golden and Georgia Golden (Workman); his wife Catherine Sue Gordon; and his siblings, Georgia Taylor and Doc Golden.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Scott (Lennie), Chet Golden of Shelbyville, Terry Hammer (Debbie) of Shelbyville and Tracy Hammer (Angie) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Ann Settles of Oregon and Danny Golden (Carol) of Louisville; and his granddaughters, Brittany West and Jessica Golden. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
