He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Gooch and Wilanna Gooch; his daughter Cynthia Gooch; and his siblings, Johnny and Myrna Dean.
He is survived by: his close friend Wanda Sue Hillenburg of Shoals, Indiana; his son Robert Gene Gooch, Jr.; and his grandson Anthony Robert Logan Gooch. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
The military honors will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the K. P. Hall Cemetery.
