He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Walton; and his brother-in-law Monte Wertz. He is survived by: his mother Lois Walton (Farmer); his wife Katherine S. "Kathy" Harrell; his children, Michelle Nisun (David) of Fort Wayne, Suzanne Walton of Indianapolis, Thomas Walton (Rachael) of Shelbyville and Kimberly Walton (Jennifer) of Indianapolis; his sister Mona Walton of Chesterfield; his grandchildren, Emily McConnell (John), Megan Nisun, Anna Nisun, Jonah Silcox, Elijah Silcox, Takeo Ratnayake, Kinu Ratnayake, Braden Brockman, Elliot Wahl and Isaac Wahl; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Pile (Charles) of Shelbyville, Rita Wertz of Waldron, Cindy Clay (Jeff) of Shelbyville and Tony Harrell of Centerville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
