He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Benson (Williams); his daughter Valeria Jorgensen of Shelbyville; and his siblings, John Wesley Benson, Jr. of Michigan, Katherine Tressler (John) of Fairland and Ruby Jane Spaulding of Indianapolis.
