He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Bowers and Opal Clairabell Bowers (Cole); his son Paul Eric Bowers; and his son-in-law Jack Powers. He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Stevens (Troy) of Flat Rock, Kelly Quick (Larry) of Shelbyville and Michelle Powers of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Shawn Spurlin, Brandon Powers, Michael Lephew, Brittany Sanders, Nathan Stevens, Haley Eichorn, Olivia Bowers, Blake Bowers and Brody Bowers. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
