He is survived by: his son Donte Denton (Shelby); his grandchildren, Aniya Coleman, Jayla Denton, Brenna Denton and Jeremiah Denton; his sisters, Para Jones and Rhonda Robinson; and his nieces and nephews, Carroll Jones, Anson Giden, Jessman Robinson, Megan Kangwa and Whitney Hammel.
